What to Expect
During your follow-up appointment, we’ll:
- Review your baby’s feeding progress and any changes since your last visit.
- Reassess latch, positioning, milk transfer, and/or pumping as needed.
- Update your care plan and provide individualized guidance.
- Answer any new questions and make sure you feel confident moving forward.
Each appointment is personalized to meet your specific goals and situation.
In-Person vs. Virtual
In-Person Appointments:
Ideal for hands-on help with latch, positioning, or pump fitting.
Allows for weighted feeds to assess milk transfer.
Great for parents who prefer real-time, tactile support.
Takes place in the comfort of your own home
Virtual Appointments:
Convenient for quick check-ins, follow-up questions, or adjustments to your feeding plan.
Helpful for ongoing support
While a virtual visit can’t include weighted feeds, it’s still an excellent way to get expert support and reassurance.
